UNF neglected education, says President

This statement appeared in the Ceylon Daily News barely Two weeks after the president disolved the parliament causing the Advance Level examinations to be postponed by over a month
The advanced level exam is the shool leaving examination. The ceylon daily news is a newspaper maintained at public expense for the benefit of the political party in power. The paliament was dissolved four years ahead of schedule.
